Artificial Lighting for Local Authorities Workshops were held in Galway City and Sligo in April 2025, the first of its kind for the region. This workshop was organised by the Connacht Biodiversity Officers as part of the Heritage Council Programme. The workshops were co-funded by Local Authorities including Galway County Council and the NPWS Local Biodiversity Action Fund 2025.
